Based in Warwick, UK, Abigail is a classical guitarist, recording artist, educator, ensemble director and arranger.

Abigail trained at the Royal College of Music on a Scholarship with Carlos Bonell.  She is a former examiner for Trinity College London and recorded the entire guitar syllabus for 2016-2019 for Trinity, including solos, duos and technical exercises. She also featured on the previous CD recordings playing duets with Carlos Bonell.  Abigail has recorded a solo CD of contemporary music for Riverrun Records and a CD of chamber music with flute and piano by Eddie McGuire for Delphian Records.

 

After many years performing in the UK and abroad Abigail now focuses on teaching, arranging and ensemble leadership.  Abigail teaches at King Henry VIII School and Wellington College where she directs the Guitarkestra ensemble.

 

Prior to working for Wellington and KHVIII, Abigail was Leading Professional and Classical Guitar Teacher for Berkshire Maestros, where she co-ordinated activities for the Guitar Academy (Gifted & Talented scheme) and co-directed Berkshire Youth Guitar Orchestra, one of the leading guitar orchestras in the UK.
